We all have sung the hymn "Amazing Grace" many times in church. We sing about being blind and now seeing and about the ten thousand years being just the beginning. However, tucked in between those two verses are these words:
"And when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease; I shall possess within the veil A life of joy and peace."
That describes Sarah on November 15th. When her baby heart stopped beating, she possessed within the veil, a life of joy and peace. She still possessed that life. When I look around at this world full of hurt and pain where we fail to see things and people as God sees them, I know that my baby is safe.
Today, remember that someday, you can possess within the veil a life of joy and peace. I pray that today, you get a glimpse of the joy and peace that God has for you.
